| I was drawn to Five Aspects when my daughter was born. I felt desperate for truth about what it means to be a woman and how to raise a girl to be a woman. Even though I have been a Christian since I was a child, I had questions about who I was, who I was as a woman, and how God saw me. I was confused and had a hard time separating what was ingrained in me, what messages society was giving me, and what was true. After the Five Aspects course, I didn’t have any questions. Every question was addressed and answered. I understood my worth and value as a wife and a mother and I didn’t need to seek out any other value—no more striving and floundering. |

I thank God with all my heart and soul for Barbara Mouser’s Five Aspect of Woman lessons. As I studied, I felt the doors of my mind start to open one by one. The course answered many questions and took away bitterness, confusion, and anger toward people and circumstances. It did not fix the world, but instead it fixed my mind and my point of view. Each aspect was a different tool to repair and remodel my mind.
I felt useless and unimportant to society when I realized that in the 21st century, while people are traveling in outer space, I am doing the same thing my mother and grandmother were doing. But now I realize that God has given me a domain to rule. I don’t have to be bossy but can give direction with grace and respect. Now I look at myself as God’s special agent on the earth working in His kingdom. Because I am living in a fallen world, everything is imperfect, including man in his roles and responsibilities. The best way to deal with this problem is to respect the man and allow him his original place of respect and leadership. He is worthy of respect not because of his actions but because he is made in God’s image. When I respect a man without challenging his worth, I am directly respecting God Himself. |

I have learned more about true womanhood from this nine month course than in the previous forty-three years of regular church attendance, Bible college classes and extensive missionary training. After intensive study of God’s Word and application of the Aspects to my life, I have experienced joy, rest and freedom as never before.
As the author says, the Five Aspects of Woman provides ancient answers for today’s women, but with a freshness which will renew them for today’s battles. If someone had asked me nine months ago, “Are you in any way, shape or form influenced by feminism?” I would have answered, “Definitely not!” Yet, as I studied God’s Word and this course, the Lord revealed areas of my life and heart that were influenced by my culture and the feminist philosophy of my generation. He began plucking out attitudes and beliefs, replacing them with assurance, peace and freedom to be who He created me to be. The Five Aspects of Woman is an in-depth study of Biblical femininity. Comparable to a Bible college class, this course is for mature Christian women who are willing to make the time for this worthwhile and extensive study. |

The Five Aspects of Woman course has given me a lot of new insights in how to better encourage/confront ladies to be godly women. So, not only has it been helpful to me personally, but also professionally. Preparing the lesson helps me think through the concepts and formulate ideas in my head and makes the principles come automatically to mind when I am counseling.
If you believe this is a study for married women only, think again. God made all kinds of women, women in different phases of life, etc. It is true the study begins in the Garden where God instituted the marriage relationship, but that is only one of many that women find themselves in. The principles learned in this study are applicable to all women of all ages across the globe. Do you believe the curse means that women must be submissive to men? In this study you learn what really happened and how it plays out in all your relationships today and what God can do in your life to make you shine wherever you are and a blessing to others. What does it mean to be feminine? Does God really have a special mission for women in the economy of His plan for this world? |

This study is about what God says about femininity. There is nothing inferior or lesser in scriptural femininity. In fact, to borrow from radical terminology, I found this study to be empowering.
Our society has gone through a period of upheaval where the line between genders has been blurred, where there is confusion as to just what masculinity and femininity is. Even in the church there can be erroneous views: some compromising scripture to fit with the current social trends, others taking a traditional approach but not necessarily the most scriptural. It seems that in the last several years there is a growing awareness that men and women are indeed different and we women have a deep need to fulfill some of our decidedly feminine roles. This course is, reduced down to its bare bones, about gender; how God made the sexes different, how we act and interact. Although the tendencies God placed in men are discussed, the study is about 5 different aspects of women. Within those aspects are 3 views relative to our relationship to God, 1) how God created us to be 2) how we are in reality in a fallen world and 3) how we can be in a redeemed state. |

How do I see myself? I am so thankful to have been able to take the Five Aspect of Woman course. Before the course, I had vague ideas about my femininity. I have always enjoyed being a woman, but if I were asked why before this course, I’m not sure I could have put my thoughts into words. This course has brought into focus many things about women and men, some that I felt all along were true, and some that I had never even thought of before. It has given me a new and elevated way to see myself and all women as specially created by God. The course has given me a gauge to evaluate myself and to be able to answer the what, who, why and how’s of being a woman.
Today the world has many things to say on gender issues. Most of it is confusing and, misleading, and totally incorrect. The Five Aspects of Woman has brought clarity and peace to what God has for me as a woman. Only in the Word of God can we find our identity. And how rich and wonderful it is! All our questions in life, who we are, and what we were made for and what we are supposed to do, can be answered in His Word. His way is the only way that will ever give us complete satisfaction as to who we are as women. |

| The 5 Aspects of Woman is the most scholarly and Biblical study of femininity that I’ve come across in over 30 years of study, reading and research. While many books and studies teach some things well on what it means to be a godly woman, when finished reading or studying them one feels that afterward that they have only encountered a “piece” of the pie. The 5 Aspects is much more of a systematic study of biblical femininity. It presents the internal framework of Biblical genders, teaching not a small of amount of solid orthodox theology along the way, as well as some fundamentals of hermeneutics. While this is a Biblical course about how to “see and understand” the nature of Biblical genders, there is more than enough solid application to keep any serious student of the Bible on his or her knees! |

This study of biblical femininity has brought me to a deeper appreciation of who I am as a woman and my God-given purpose in life. It flies in the face of today’s culture. It teaches that we as women are valuable because of who we are in Christ. Our culture and the media teach us that we are valuable if we are young, beautiful, wealthy and talented or accomplished. If we as women base our worth on this we will never measure up or be fulfilled. Therefore, this book has freed me to enjoy who I am as a woman. |
