Five Aspects of Woman Course Structure and Guidelines

This study course presents a biblical theology of femininity, based on 20+ years of through-the-Bible study and teaching. The five aspects are based on seven definitive gender passages from the Bible and each is examined from three different points of view:

  • As it was created to be
  • As it is distorted and marred by sin
  • As it is redeemed and restored in Christ

Student material for the course consists of the Five Aspects of Woman in two volumes. The course is designed to be presented in 23 lessons:

  • One introductory lesson
  • Three lessons per Aspect
  • One life lesson per Aspect
  • Two summary lessons

The 18 lectures are available as free mp3 downloads (average time 40 minutes each), although the audio files correspond to the lessons in the previous edition so will not match word for word.

  • One introductory lecture
  • Three lectures for each Aspect
  • Two summary lectures

The Five Aspects course is equal in difficulty to a Bible college course and therefore requires:

  • A high level of commitment
  • 3 to 5 hours weekly for preparation and meeting time
  • Multi-approach study (personal Bible study, lessons with text and optional audio files, class discussion, and personal application)

The benefits to the student include:

  • A biblical overview of femininity
  • Applications for women in all stages of life
  • Foundations in basic Christian doctrine
  • Appreciation of God’s design for gender
  • Integration of Bible, theology, and application
